GistBox Clipper is the companion extension to GistBox, the most beautiful way to organize code snippets. It allows a user to create a GitHub Gist from any page on the web.
Save-as-Gist Button:
GistBox Clipper will insert a Save-As-Gist button into the top-right corner of any code block it can find. Click on the button to launch the New Gist Editor and create a new snippet on the spot, without ever leaving the page. Works really well with sites like StackOverflow.
Right-Click Context Menu:
Highlight any piece of text and right click to bring up Chrome's context menu. Click on the new Save as Gist option to launch a New Gist Editor with the pre-filled text.
Extension Action Button:
While you are in the middle of an online activity and inspiration suddenly strikes, you may click on the blue GistBox Clipper icon in the top-right corner of your Chrome browser. This will bring up the new Gist editor with the description filled in with the URL of the page.
